"It’s about helping the feelings of pets."
Adelaide, Dr. Hilliard’s Nine Year Old Daughter
When I first shared my vision for this clinic, my daughter, Adelaide, simply said, “It’s about helping the feelings of dogs and cats.” Her words captured my mission beautifully and inspired the name Feeling Pawsitive Veterinary Behavior Solutions.

Rian Clark
Receptionist for All Locations
"The most fulfilling part of my job is helping repair bonds and bringing peace to sweet babies that just need a little extra help."
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Rian began her career in general practice, where she spent over five years managing the front desk in a busy general practice clinic. During that time, she saw firsthand how fear and anxiety can impact both pets and their people, which sparked a passion for helping create more peaceful, positive experiences. This led her to transition into veterinary behavior alongside Dr. Hilliard, where she is dedicated to helping four-legged households find balance, understanding, and lasting change.
At home, Rian proudly embraces her role as a resident cat lady to three mischievous felines who keep life entertaining. Outside of work, she enjoys getting lost in a good book, playing video games, and thrifting.
