Soothing Fears, Restoring Harmony, Enhancing Lives
First and foremost, we want to thank you for considering our behavioral service. Your trust in us with your patients means a great deal and is highly appreciated. We really value the partnership with referring veterinarians, as Dr. Hilliard was one for 10 years. We fully understand the complexities of managing cases in a general practice setting, in addition to the many other cases you have going at the same time. Together we form a strong team, blending our expertise for the well-being of your pets. We are always here to answer any questions and provide behavior assistance, ensuring a comprehensive approach for tackling behavioral issues and achieving the best outcomes for our patients.
If you wish to refer a patient, you can directly do so by using our contact form. This will give us all the information for the patient and we can reach out directly to the client. Alternatively, the client can reach out directly to us as well but referral is preferred to streamline the process.
We do hope to offer mobile veterinary care options for behavioral consults soon for the Greenville and surrounding areas.
Behavior at every stage of a pet's life, from a fearful kitten or puppy to a senior with cognitive challenges, profoundly impacts their wellbeing. Addressing everything from resistance during early exams to cognitive changes in older pets, and even managing complex cases with both medical and behavioral concerns, highlights the vital role of teamwork. By joining forces, we as veterinarians turn the dream of effective, compassionate care throughout a pet's life into a shared achievement.
We offer telemedicine consults with veterinarians lasting 30-45 minutes, providing convenience and expert care in behavior assistance. For veterinary consultations, we highly recommend sending a full behavioral history beforehand. These can be completed by the client using our behavioral history forms available online, ideally 72 hours prior to the consultation. Short videos showcasing the concerning behavior are also welcome and can be very helpful. During the consult, we'll discuss potential differentials and diagnoses, prognosis and explore treatment options including medication and behavioral modification. If you are interested in a telemedicine consultation, please reach out to us via email to get started.
